Thank you so much for once again providing me with the opportunity of being a 3to1 Foundation Scholarship recipient. It is such a relief to my family that my book fees and a portion of my tuition fees are now covered thanks to your generosity. I am so excited to continue pursuing my education at The University of Texas at Dallas.
I am now a sophomore at UTD, majoring in accounting. I was very active within my school last year, being part of over five clubs and organizations. I participated in various workshops and events and am definitely looking forward to seeing where my next few years will lead me. Although this year will most likely be a challenge, I see it as an opportunity to do things differently and make the most of an interesting situation. Thank you once again for your confidence and for choosing me as a recipient of the scholarship.Back to Scholarship Recipients
My name is Abigail Mejia and I am honored to be one of this year’s recipients of the 3to1 Foundation College Scholarship. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generosity in funding this scholarship. Thanks to your donation, I am able to continue my education at the University of Texas at Dallas.
I am currently a freshman, majoring in accounting. I am currently completing 16 credit hours by taking classes as a full-time student. My goal is to complete my bachelor’s degree and continue to pursue my master’s here at the University of Texas at Dallas. After that, I would like to secure a job at one of the “Big Four” companies.
While attending school I have been involved with an on-campus organization called Pilot360 and the Undergraduate Accounting Club. After my scheduled graduation in May of 2024 (with my MBA), I plan to pursue a career as an accountant in order to contribute to the business industry.
Receiving this scholarship motivates me to maintain my GPA and complete my degree. I look forward to being able to give back to the community once I begin my career as an accountant. I thank you for your confidence and willingness to help me achieve my goals.
